After one and a half years of preparations SIETAR Europa Congress opens its doors at the University in Dublin. So excited to harvest the new insights in the intercultural field and get inspired in numerous workshops and key-note speeches. As a head of Program Team I almost know the program by heart and struggle what to choose as the selection is very rich. Four tracks, two academic tracks and a film festival are attracting attention on two floors. Additionally, the poster session takes place in the foyer. This rich program would not be possible without contributions of highly motivated members of my team who you can encounter on
the official congress website. It was a fantastic time and I am more than happy that we have co-shaped the congress that attracted more than 400 participants in these turbulent times.
My personal highlights were:
the key-note speech by Phuong-Mai Nguyen on the newest insights into neuroscience in the intercultural field
a similar focus had an extraordinary workshop offered by Shannon Robinson, with whom I had a very interesting talk,
the resilience workshop by Karolina Ehretsmann
The fantastic graphic recordings by
Raquel Benmergui show corresponding visualisations of the above highlights.
